How to sign up for Water & Sewer Service
Open and print the Online Utility Contract(PDF) or come to the office at 105 N Main St. and pick one up. Fill in the sections at the top and bottom of the form and return it to the Utility office. A $25 Non-Refundable Set Up fee and drivers license/ID card is also required to set up the account. For those who are renting the owner will need to fill out the section at the bottom of the form and sign it before you return it. For more information call the utility department at (740)636-2344.
Online Utility Payments
The City of Washington Court House utility customers now have the option of paying their water and sewer bill(s) with a Master Card, VISA credit/debit cards and electronic check(EFT)on Invoice Cloud. Additionally, customers may select to have their utility bills emailed to them as opposed to having them mailed to their address. Getting started is easy, just click the link Invoice Cloud Portal. You will need your current utility bill for the account number and amount due to get set up.
The city's online option will also allow customers to view their current utility bill, payment history, and usage history with a click of the mouse.

Policies
- Checks returned for non-sufficient funds are subject to a $25 returned check fee.
- For checks returned for reasons other than non-sufficient funds, all Authorize Net fees related to the transaction will be applied to your utility account.
- Any overpayment of a Utility Department account will be credited to the account.
- Any payment deemed to be received in error will be refunded to the customer.
Your payment is being processed by "Invoice Cloud". Information is collected as necessary to complete the transaction and as required by the City of Washington Court House Utility Department.
Service Restoration
If you have been disconnected due to nonpayment you will need to pay over the phone at 740-636-2344 or come to the office to get your service restored. A $25.00 service fee will be added plus payment in full of your bill for service to be restored.
After hours number: 740-636-2382. After hours calls will be charged a $75.00 call out fee to shut-off or reconnect services.
